Privacy Policy

Who operates Meridian

Meridian is operated by Ray Grieselhuber as an individual. In this policy, “Meridian,” “we,” and “us” refer to that operator. “You” refers to anyone using the site at meridianscheduler.com.

Information we collect

We do not collect personal information. Meridian has no server component, no user accounts, no sign-up, no contact forms, and no payment processing. We do not ask for your name, your email address, or your location, and there is no system in which such information could be recorded.

Information stored on your device

Meridian saves your board so that it is still present when you return. This is written to your browser's local storage under a single key, meridian:v1. It contains the following:

This data remains on your device and is never transmitted to us. The selected date, the selected hour, and the meeting duration are not saved at all, so Meridian always opens on the current day.

Network requests and third parties

Meridian is a single HTML file. It loads no fonts, scripts, stylesheets, images, or trackers from any third party. After the page has loaded it makes no network requests during normal use, which is also why it works offline.

One feature is an exception, and it operates only when you choose to use it. The “GCal” button opens Google Calendar in a new tab with your selected meeting time, duration, and the list of local times per city included in the URL. That information is transmitted to Google and is governed by Google's privacy policy. This policy does not apply to it. The “ICS” button provides the same result without any network request, since it builds the calendar file in your browser and downloads it directly.

The “Copy” button writes to your system clipboard and transmits nothing.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

Meridian sets no cookies. There is no analytics package, tag manager, tracking pixel, session recording tool, or A/B testing tool, and no advertising of any kind. We have no record of how many people use Meridian, which cities they add, or when they visit.

Server logs

The site is a static file served by a hosting provider. As is standard for web hosting, that provider may automatically record request information such as IP address, user agent, requested path, and timestamp, for security and reliability purposes. We do not use those logs to build profiles, we do not combine them with other information, and we do not sell or share them.

Your choices

To erase everything Meridian has stored, clear site data for meridianscheduler.com in your browser settings. This removes the entire meridian:v1 key. You may also use your browser's private browsing mode, in which case nothing persists after you close the window.

Data protection rights

Statutory data rights, including those under the GDPR in the EU and UK and the CCPA/CPRA in California, concern personal information that a business holds about you. We hold none. We do not sell or share personal information as those laws define those terms. You are welcome to contact us to confirm this.

Children

Meridian is a general audience utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, since we do not collect personal information at all.

Changes to this policy

If Meridian gains a feature that changes how data is handled, such as saved boards that sync across devices, shareable meeting links, user accounts, analytics, or payments, this page will be updated before that feature is released, and the effective date above will change. We will note material changes on the site.
